Cancelling your subscription
Cancellation requires 30 days' written notice. Submit it from settings → billing inside the product, or email ops-support@marginkitchen.com and we will confirm within one business day.
Your workspace stays fully active through the notice period and, for annual plans, through the remainder of the paid term.
Section 02
Monthly plans
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for the upcoming month. Once a billing cycle has started, the current month is non-refundable. Cancelling with 30 days' notice stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the notice period.
Section 03
Annual plans
Annual subscriptions are paid in advance for a 12-month term. Annual plans are not refunded on a pro-rata basis. When you cancel, auto-renewal is turned off and the plan remains active through the end of the paid term.
Mid-term plan changes (downgrades, location changes) are handled as a prorated credit applied to the next invoice rather than a cash refund.
Section 04
Service issues and exceptions
If a material issue prevents you from using Margin Kitchen for an extended period, we will work with you on an appropriate credit or refund regardless of the standard windows above. Examples:
- Persistent product outage attributable to us.
- Failure to deliver a contracted feature within the agreed timeline.
- Billing error on our side.
The fastest path is always to email ops-support@marginkitchen.com with a short description and the affected workspace.
Section 05
Your data after cancellation
When a subscription ends we retain workspace data for 30 days so you can re-activate without losing history. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted from our production systems. You can request immediate deletion at any time via support.
